A friend and I were at the park on a beautiful Saturday evening talking about dogs. He remembered a Border Collie that was the love of his father's life. He got the dog after my friend moved out so he wasn't very attached to the dog. He just noted how much work it seemed to be. But his father's love for this dog was undeniable. The father proved how connected they were one day. He told his son "Listen, I am going to talk to the dog in Shakespearean language and he will obey the command." So he proceeded "Sir Dog, wilt thee wend to thy resting quarters." In other words "Lie down in your bed." And sure enough the dog proceed to his "resting quarters." In the morning, the father spoke to the dog in French: "Chien, voulez-vous de votre déjeuner maintenant"? The dog walked up to his bowl and sat in front of it waiting for his breakfast to be served. My friend remarked on the clear telepathic connection he witnessed because the dog did not understand Shakespearean or French. And, he added, his father mourned the loss of his best friend more than the deaths of various family members. This story inspire me to do what I do. Even though there are frustrating moments with lost animals, there are many more remarkable moments that make it an honor to be engaging in the process of telepathically communicating with animals.
