I am excited to share about a new therapy I am learning about, called Neurofeedback. The treatment is primary for humans but I have seen some youtube videos of animals receiving therapy. It is on the cutting edge of scientific exploration. Sensors are placed on the scalp to measure brainwaves while the patient watches imagery on the screen. There is a feedback system so when the patient's attention fades the screen flickers. So one becomes instantly aware of one's thought process. It is very effective for ADHD, epilepsy, depression and much more. Very accomplished athletes use it to enhance their performance. I look forward to trying it in the coming weeks so I can improve my equestrian abilities. This is a very basic explanation, so if you are curious, look into it!
