There has been a lot of action in my life lately. I have been really busy doing readings, which I so enjoy. In between readings and family life, I chose to move my horses to another barn two weeks ago. Without going into too many details, I moved my two horses to my coach's barn across the street. Luckily we could just walk the horses over but it has been a major process setting up their paddocks with livestock panels, moving 8 tonnes of hay and finding places to store it. I had a shipping container moved to the property to store 4 tonnes of hay and the rest is going in trailers and a horse stall. Many people came together to make this move happen. And we are so pleased that we did this move. We no longer have access to an indoor arena but we are learning so much about footing and snow conditions. Riding outside in the snow, breathing fresh air and doing things I never would have imagined possible, like doing canter circles in the cross county field... in. the. snow! Best of all, I am in a supportive community with people I admire and respect. (Photo credit: Wendy Clerihue).
